This directory was created to connect Springfield's Hispanic and Latino community to social services, health care, education, food assistance, workforce programs, and family support. Springfield is home to one of the largest Puerto Rican communities in the United States, and Holyoke's Latino population exceeds 50%. These organizations serve all community members regardless of immigration status, language ability, or documentation — and most services are free. Organizations are selected for their direct service to the Hispanic/Latino community in Western Massachusetts, with priority given to bilingual (Spanish/English) providers in Springfield, Holyoke, Chicopee, and surrounding Hampden County communities.
